Splendid neighborhood Eye-joint, with a 1940’s theme, kickass spaghetti and meatballs, and cannoli so sweet, filling, and inexpensive that you’ll consider moving to Fountain Hills so you can have them regularly. The pizza is Brooklyn-worthy, and a half-dozen of those garlic knots, and a glass of vino, and Chef Tony may have to pry you out of the booth to get you to leave. Mangia, baby, you’d have to be in Crooklyn for it to get any better.

Out of all the restaurants I visited in Arizona, I had the most fun at Redendo’s.

Redendo’s family, staff, and restaurant are more than good they enrich your life!.
–Jay Schlum (Mayor of Fountain Hills)

This place rocks! The garlic knots bring me back to NY and the clams casino pizza was fantastic. Although I have only been to this restaurant once, my wife and I agreed that we will be back many times.

A lot of people love the food and the place is quite busy. The newer Scottsdale place is set in the 1950’s while Fountain Hills is set in the 1940’s. All the dishes are terrific including Rigatoni Redendo (Scottsdale) and the Charlie Chan Calzone (Fountain Hills) The place has numerous awards and accolades and the owners are very community service orientated. I highly recommend this food to anyone starving for good NYC Italian.

Living in Scottsdale and I got hooked on their “New York Style” pizza. It is the best I’ve had… dream about it when I get a pizza craving… and I’m originally from Chicago, so that says a lot about the quality of New York Pizza. I’m so crazy for their pie, I fly in and my first meal is always here. Have to have one about every week. All their food is a great value and décor is unique, wait staff is friendly and it’s a good place to meet with friends. No one rushes you so it’s a nice leisurely time. Once you eat here, you’ll have Redendo’s on speed dial for your cell phone.

I had such a good time at Redendo’s. It’s a long way but I love their meatballs and spaghetti. My husband and I left central New York almost 10 years ago. Since we left central New York, the thing we missed most was the wonderful “full body” (like wine) Italian food. Redendo’s does it. I had the meatballs and spaghetti and can’t believe I ate the whole thing. Of course, I didn’t eat for the next 24 hours. When my son and family come to visit, I cook Rao’s recipe for meatballs, which is pretty close to what I used to make back East. Next time they come to town, I’m going to make the long journey to Redendo’s and get some meatballs and sauce to go. (And maybe some extra to freeze.) I’ll cook the pasta here. My daughter had the calzone which looked like it could feed a family. She loved it. So did her husband the next day. Redondo’s is the best Italian restaurant we’ve found in 10 years!!!!!!!!! (I’m not a snob, but I am about my Italian food.)

The food is the best in Arizona and they have got a lot of awards to back it up. Try a great NYC pizza or some great spaghetti and meatballs. The staff is friendly and fast even at busy times. A true piece of Little Italy!

My friends and I all love this place. It doesn’t matter it is 40 minutes from ASU. It is truly a slice of NY and very well worth it. I haven’t had Sicilian pizza since I was a child with my grandmother in NY. This pizza takes me back all those years. And when I’m there, I can’t skimp on dessert. I must have a cannoli, a great holiday staple in my family. And the place has great NY Yankees memorabilia. You just have to love the Yanks!
